A wetland delineation survey turns a line of flagging tape into a surveyed boundary that a permitting agency can act on. The environmental scientist decides where the wetland edge falls. We record precisely where they put each flag, and tie that line to the property.
In Florida the resulting line matters to several authorities at once: the water management district, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the county reviewing your development order. All of them need the same coordinates.
How the work runs
- The environmental consultant walks the site and sets numbered flags along the wetland edge
- We locate every flag, keeping the numbering so the ecologist report and the survey agree
- The flag line is drawn and tied to the parcel boundary, with acreage computed on each side
- The drawing is prepared to the format the reviewing agency expects
Flags do not survive weather or livestock for long. Once a line is flagged, locating it promptly is what protects the consultant's work.
